Infantino praises Qatar for infrastructure
The infrastructure of Qatar gives football fans the opportunity to gain experience of new culture and the region. FIFA president Gianni Infantion has praised the host country for their progress towards the World Cup 2022.
The chairman visited the Al Wakrah Stadium, after which he with a helicopter seven others stadiums and training fields viewed from above. Infantino arrived in Al Wakrah as one of the first people with the new Doha Metro, which will be open to the public at the end of this year.
During an interview at the Al Wakrah Stadium, where matches up to the quarter finals of the 2022 World Cup are being played, Infantino said the football stadium is very impressive.
