More than 1,200,000 World Cup tickets sold within 24 hours

The start of ticket sales for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has generated huge demand from around the world.

More than 1.2 million tickets have been requested within the first 24 hours of the initial sales phase.

Qatar is the country with the most demand, followed by Argentina, Mexico, America, United Arab Emirates, England, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and France.

More than 140,000 requests have been submitted for the final, and more than 80,000 for the opening match.

You can buy tickets for the World Cup in Qatar in this first phase until February 8.
