Qatar and the KNVB jointly develop womens football

Leading football organizations in Qatar have joined forces with the KNVB to train female trainers.

No fewer than 45 participants received a certificate for coaching during a training course organized by the Qatar Foorball Association (QFA) , the Qatar Women ' s Sports Committee (QWSC) and the KNVB.

Johan van Geijn, specialist of the International CSR Partnerships, said that the Dutch Football Association is very happy with the qualified trainers and the progress. They've booked.

Al Ansari, QFA Secretary, said Qatari women can learn a lot from the success of men's and women's football in the Netherlands. With the help of the Orange coaches, Qatar wants to put women's football on the map in their own country.

This course is the third time that both parties have worked together on the development of women's football in Qatar. In April 2018, the KNVB and QWSC organized a training course in collaboration with EVO Soccer.

At the end of 2018, a refresher course was held in the capital Doha. The KNVB shared the experiences it gained after Orange became European Champion in 2017.
